Our 20 metre catamaran vessel the beautiful ‘Alison Maree’ is purpose-built for the Southern Ocean, providing excellent stability and comfort for our passengers. Great viewing from the cabin and fantastic viewing areas from the fly bridge, bow and stern.Spend time spotting wildlife on the bow, the huge upper and lower rear decks, or try all three. Inside join the skipper on the flybridge for the ultimate 360 degree birds-eye view or relax in the air-conditioned, spacious and comfortable main saloon.

Naturaliste Charters is a West Australian family owned and operated business that offers world class Killer Whale Expeditions and Whale Watching experiences in the South West, Western Australia.
From May – November you can experience whales in the beautiful Margaret River region. (Augusta May – August, Dunsborough late August – November). Our tours are family friendly and depart 10am & 2pm daily.
With more than 35,000 Humpback Whales migrating annually along the West Australian coastline you are 99% guaranteed to experience sighting whales on your tour with Naturaliste Charters. On the small chance you don’t get to see whales you can join another tour for free!
Naturaliste Charters are also the proud founders of the Bremer Canyon Killer Whale Expeditions. From December – April you can have the adventure of a life time and experience seeing Killer Whales thrive in their natural habitat. Bremer Canyon Expeditions depart daily from Bremer Bay.

Augusta Whale Watching - See Humpback and Southern Right Whales on their Northern Migration. Departs from Augusta Boat Harbour, Leeuwin Road, Augusta.

August - November
Dunsborough Whale Watching - See Humpbacks Whales and the Elusive Blue Whale (Oct) on their Southern Migration.
Departs from Pro Fisherman’s Boat Ramp, Geographe Bay Road, Dunsborough (opposite McDermott St, Quindalup).

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of tours by Naturaliste Charters -
Our guest's safety and comfort is always our priority. We constantly monitor sea conditions along the coastline and respond professionally to any changes.
This may mean:
• Cancellation of a Tour

• Restrictions may be placed on passengers with medical or mobility problems. The child age limit may be raised.

A full refund will apply to tours we cancel due to inclement weather or any other safety reason if it cannot be rebooked to the customer’s satisfaction.

Cancellations by guests -
Cancellations by guests will incur a minimum 20% fee. Cancellations 14 days or less prior to departure incur a 50% fee. Cancellations 7 days or less of departure no refund applies. If you need to change your booking please contact the office directly on (08) 9750 5500. All booking changes incur a 20% rebooking fee.
