Cancellation Policy

* Rates quoted are subject to availability. By using our rates you agree with and abide by our terms and conditions. Rates quoted are per night per
room and includes 'non smoking' accommodation for 1-2 ‘adult only’ guests and a continental breakfast (unless otherwise specified). Rates are
inclusive of G.S.T. and are quoted in AUD. Rates may increase without notice due to any changes or in the imposition of government taxes
or levies.
* Minimum Stay: Standard Season 1-3 night min. stay - High Season 5-7 nights (or as specified) min. stay. Over night stays may be accepted to fill in
gaps between bookings.
* Deposit - 50% of total rate is required at the time of booking.
* Total Rate - 100% of total rate is required at the time of booking if the booking is made within 7 days (30 days during High Season) of arrival date.
* Final Balance - the remaining 50% of total rate (unless fully paid) is payable 7 days (30 days in High Season) before arrival date. We will charge the
credit card supplied for the outstanding balance.
* Note: High Season - Christmas /New Years Summer Period Easter and Music Festivals.
* Payment - Byron Baythers accepts payment by Visa (1.6% surcharge ) Mastercard (1.6% surcharge ) Electronic Bank Transfer (which must be received prior to check-in) and Cash.
* A valid credit card number is required for security on all bookings made without exception.
* Check In from 2 p.m. local time. We like to welcome our guests on arrival - We plan our day around the arrival time you give us - It is important
that you notify us in advance if there is any change in that time to ensure you have a trouble free check-in.
* Check Out by 10 a.m. local time
* Additional charges apply to guarantee early arrival and late departure.
* Luggage Storage - Luggage can be dropped off at a nominated time prior to Check In on the day of arrival or after Check Out on the day of
departure. We provide a locked luggage area - we take all care but no responsibility as luggage is left at your own risk.
* We appreciate that unexpected situations may arise - we strongly recommend that you acquire travel insurance to cover yourself in the likelihood of
such an event as our cancellation policy is adhered to.
* No refunds for early departures whatsoever.
* We are a small business - when you book with us we hold the accommodation in good faith exclusively for you - accordingly all
other bookings or enquiries are declined by us for those dates - your cancellation can result in us having no occupancy not only in your room but in
others due to the natural flow of bookings.
* Notice of any cancellation of or amendment to a booking must be made in writing & received by email.
* Cancelling or amending your booking will attract a charge as detailed below.
a. If you give more than 30 days notice of arrival date (60 days High Season) - full refund of deposit (50% of total rate) less admin. fee of $75.
b. If you give between 30 to 8 days notice of arrival date (60 to 31 days in High Season) - the deposit (50% of total rate) is forfeited.
c. If you give 7 days or less notice of arrival date (30 days or less in High Season) or No Shows - the total rate (100%) for the reserved
accommodation is forfeited.
* Any cancellations or amendments to bookings will not be refunded after check-in. The accommodation is held in good faith for the number of nights booked & all other enquiries will have been declined.
* Cancel any booking & provide a full refund if any unforeseen circumstances arise.
* Ask people to leave who do not comply with the terms and conditions & no refund will be given.
* Cancel the booking at short notice & attempt to re-let if there is difficulty in finalising accounts.
* Charge for Additional Costs- in the event that the person that made the booking (you) does not settle your account for costs and expenses prior to
departure (such as unpaid rent property damages and breakages (even if accidental) items found to be missing or damaged by misuse extra
cleaning lost keys late checkout etc. ) the credit card you supplied will be debited by us. 
* ADULTS over 21 ONLY - We provide accommodation in which adults can enjoy a child free holiday.
* CAR PARKING - On site outdoor car parking is available and is secured by remote gates.
* NO COOKING is allowed in rooms.
* KEY AND REMOTE - One security key one remote and one key lock box is provided per room. A charge of $100 (min.) will be charged to the
credit card you supplied if keys and/or remotes are lost or damaged. Byron Baythers beach towels must be returned to our property or otherwise
will be charged to your credit card.
* KITCHENETTE - Byron Bathers provides a well stocked shared kitchenette for our guests to use. We provide a large refrigerator microwave
sink tea & coffee making gear and other essentials ( crockery glasses etc.). This area is to be kept tidy at all times.
* MAXIMUM 2 GUESTS per room x 3 king rooms (6 guests at any one time)
* NOT ALLOWED: Group bookings - Schoolies - Parties - Functions - Pets /Animals - Open flames which include candles - Spa bath after 10pm.
* QUIET - Please respect the quiet enjoyment of our neighbours of other guests and of us. Unreasonable noise and or anti social behaviour at
any time will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to ask offenders to leave without refund of tariff.
* Only REGISTERED GUESTS are permitted on the premises and allowed to use our facilities
* Byron Baythers will NOT BE IN BREACH of this agreement or in any way liable to any party if it is prevented from complying with this agreement by
reason of act of God act of public enemy act of terrorism war earthquake riot explosion compliance with any government restraint order rule
regulations strikes lockouts interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service or any other cause not reasonably within our control
* We do not take RESPONSIBILITY for any loss or damage to your personal belongings or property including loss or damage to vehicles parked on
the premises. Please ensure you lock/secure your vehicle valuables your room (doors/windows) at all times.
* ROOM CLEANS - It might seem strange to some that we do not service the rooms daily but we do have our reasons. Our rooms are spotlessly
clean - WE GREEN CLEAN (no chemicals) and spend considerable time ensuring that our guests are more than satisfied with the result.
Rooms are cleaned & linen changed as follows: 2 OR 3 NIGHT STAY (no service extra towels toiletries etc. provided) /// 4 5 OR 6
NIGHT STAY (cleaned mid stay) /// 7 PLUS NIGHT STAY (dependent on length of stay but cleaned after every 2nd or 3rd night stayed) -
NOTE - the 7 PLUS NIGHT SPECIAL WEEKLY RATE (cleaned mid stay only)
* SMOKE FREE Environment - Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property - inside or out. If smoking is detected we will ask you to stop and
will charge you for the costs involved in ridding the room or area of odour etc. and for any loss of rent.
* We will make every attempt to meet SPECIAL REQUESTS (including a preferred room) however due to unforeseen circumstances &/or the natural
flow of bookings we can not guarantee that requests will be met & changes may be made without notice.
* TIMBER FLOORS can be badly damaged by high heels & luggage - please be mindful of both. We provide luggage racks to store your luggage on
(refer to additional charges)
* WiFi INTERNET - A facility provided free on a fair use basis.
