Cancellation Policy
Refund and Cancellation of Bookings:
HostAbout reserve the right to cancel bookings if the minimum age of 28 for the lead guest and majority of guests is not achieved. No bookings will be accepted for Schoolies. A signed Guest Agreement must be received if not HostAbout reserve the right to cancel the booking. Smoking is not permitted. Parties are not permitted. Pets are not assumed to be ok with each property - permission required as some owners strictly forbid due to chronic allergies so this must be respected. Full bond claims will be deducted for this otherwise. The Mornington Shire Council short stay by-laws regarding Guest Code of Conduct must be adhered to by every guest in the booking - ranging from occupancy noise parking and rubbish. All details are provided in the online listing and are in the property as a printed copy and available on request via email at info@hostabout.com.au. Failure to comply may result in guest eviction and full bonds may be deducted. A credit card will be required for the bond payment - this is obtained by HostAbout.
All cancellations must be received in writing to HostAbout at info@hostabout.com.au and the following cancellation fees will apply.
1. Booking Fees are non-refundable at any time for any cancellation.
2. Bank Fees (if charged for payments via Credit Card) are non-refundable.
3. Eligible booking components that receive refunds applies to Accommodation Cleaning Pet fees and Pool Heating.
4. Service fees charged by BookEasy are non-refundable and HostAbout have no delegation to authorise service fee refunds by the booking platform.
The standard cancellation policy applies to this booking however if there is a declared Covid19 lockdown for you/your group or in our area at the time of your booking a full refund will be paid (we are unable to refund booking or bank fees however).
Upon making a booking a 50% deposit is required. The balance is due 30 days pre-arrival. Bonds are due 7 days pre arrival.
