Two impressive self contained Country Homes on a 45 acre vineyard estate in the beautiful Lovedale area of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Super fast Wifi and Smart tv's.
Ironstone Lodge is a wonderful house for a group of friends to wine, dine and enjoy the Hunter Valley. The Lodge has 6 bedrooms all with ensuites. The lounge/dining area is massive with 6 leather lounges arranged around the large open fireplace. A spacious 12 seater dining table inside and also outside makes for leisurely self catered meals. Often chefs prepare wonderful meals for our guests.
Ironstone Homestead has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and is a great venue for family get togethers. The spacious covered bbq /entertaining area with two table settings overlooks the pool which is for the exclusive use of the Homestead guests.
Both the Lodge and the Homestead have guests who choose to return each year or every few years to enjoy all that Ironstone Estate has to offer.

IRONSTONE LODGE : Opened in June 2006- custom built to accommodate up to 12 people. Each of the 6 bedrooms have their own ensuites, two with corner baths and one suitable for disabled guests. Four bedrooms have queen-sized beds and two have king-sized beds which can be separated into single beds. Ironstone Lodge has ducted air throughout, an enormous entertaining/dining area with a large open fire, leather lounges, 12 seater timber dining table, well equipped kitchen, LCD TV, DVD player, radio & CD player. French doors open onto a large covered outdoor entertaining area with a 12 seater table and hooded BBQ. The Lodge has a private entrance off Olsens Rd, with a lovely vineyard aspect above a large dam. This is the perfect venue for an escape for groups of friends to share or for small corporate retreats.

IRONSTONE HOMESTEAD: The Homestead is ideal for up to 12 people.. An impressive five bedroom, self-catering Country House with a wood fire, a sparkling in-ground pool, a shady covered entertainment area and a large country kitchen. The perfect venue for a family or group of friends to wine, dine and relax whilst overlooking Ironstone's vineyards.

The Homestead is located on the opposite side of the property to the Lodge but both houses have their entrance on Olsen Rd. The Homestead is suitable for children but the Lodge is not suitable for young children. Both houses will not be booked to the one group unless it is a conference group where one person per bedroom is required

Ph: 0458 222 747 Long w/e , Easter & Lovedale Long Lunch have a 3 night min. Xmas through to New Year have a 3 night minimum stay. ( Some Long Weekends can be offered for a 2 night stay with a slightly higher per night rate).

Ironstone Estate is a 10min drive from the town of Cessnock. Travel along Wine Country Drive - towards the vineyards. At the intersection of Lovedale Rd & Wine Country Drive (Crowne Plaza is on this corner) - turn right- you then turn right into the first road - Londons Rd (Capercaillie Winery is on this corner)- drive for 1 km until you come to a fork in the road - turn right and drive up the hill onto Olsen Rd for just under 1km to Ironstone Estate. Drive onto the property and follow the signs to the office/residence.

Cancellation Policy

Prior to booking these "Conditions of Booking" are to be viewed and accepted. Payment of the 50% deposit indicates acceptance of these "Conditions".
Attach your name to the payment.
*If booking is made 28 days or less from arrival date then 100% of payment is due on the day of booking.
*On the day of arrival a security bond of $500 with a Visa or Mastercard is required. If there is damage loss or excess cleaning up to or in excess of the $500 your credit card will be used to cover the full amount.
*The facilities at Ironstone Estate are available ONLY to the guests who are booked into the Estate. Holding parties BBQs or any type of function whereby extra people are invited onto the Estate is not allowed and by doing so may cancel your booking and forfeit your security bond. You will not be given a refund. Allowing extra people to stay will also forfeit your security bond and your booking. Only one house can be booked on the Estate for groups of friends or families.
*The Lodge has a maximum capacity of only 12 people and the Homestead only 12 people. Children above 2 years of age are included in the total number of people.
*The owners of Ironstone Estate take no responsibility for guests personal property including motor vehicles.
*Change of dates are to be made more than 90 days before arrival.
Cancellations outside of 90 days attract a 50% cancellation fee. If cancellation is 90 days from arrival date there will be no refund. Normal cancellation policy applies to cancelled concerts and other events.
