Bimbi Park is in Cape Otway, the center of the Great Ocean Road and the Great Ocean Walk, an area of magnificent forests, beaches, secluded bays, and spectacular coastline. It is sheltered among tall manna gums far away from the wearing noise of towns and traffic.Camping and Caravaning
Accommodation to suit all budgets from campsites, powered campsites, on-site vans, bunk rooms, standard and deluxe cabins. All set in sheltered manna gum woodland.

Campfires are permitted, however, during the summer months, fires cannot be lit on total fire ban days. Bimbi Park supplies portable fireplaces and there is a modern amenities block with laundry facilities. Essential groceries, drinks and ice-creams are available from the kiosk.

Directions

FROM APOLLO BAY - Drive through Apollo Bay heading west towards the 12 Apostles. At approximately 20km you'll see a sign that says "Cape Otway Lightstation" "Cape Otway" and “Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park)” next left. Turn left and drive for about 7km where you'll see “Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park)” next right. Travel for about 1 Km and you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) on the left.
FROM COLAC - From the Princess Hwy turn south on Corangamite st (C155), travel about 40km going through Gellibrand to Ferguson. At the T intersection turn right towards Lavers Hill (aproximatly 16km).
FROM LAVERS HILL – Turn south the Great Ocean Road towards Apollo Bay (from Colac its left from the 12 Apostles it’s right). At about 26km you’ll see "Cape Otway Lightstation" "Cape Otway" and Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) next right. Turn right and drive for about 7km where you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) next right. Travel for about 1 Km and you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) on the left.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELATION POLICY
BIMBI PARK reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time with a full refund.

GUEST CANCELING
2020/21/22 COVID-19 – Due to unprecedented times we are financially unable to refund cancelations but will offer full credits to use in the future.


OTHER TIMES
FULL PEAK – December to February long weekends public holiday and school holidays – Minimum 60 days notice for cancelling prior to arrival date is required for full refund minus administration fee of $50.00 and booking fee. Cancellations less than 60 days and more than 30 days from arrival date 50% refund. Cancellation under 30 days notice no refund. DEPOSIT 4 nights accommodation required. Full payment required on online bookings.

OFF PEAK – All dates not including full peak dates – Minimum 30 days notice for canceling prior to arrival date is required for full refund minus administration fee of $50.00 and booking fee. Cancellations less than 30 days and more than 7 days from arrival date 50% refund. Cancellation under 7 days notice no refund. DEPOSIT 2 nights accommodation required. Full payment required on online bookings.

BIMBIPARK TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

TREES: There are many trees in the park that may drop branches and debris. There is always a risk that trees may drop a branch. Guests stay here only on the condition that they accept that risk. We cannot accept any responsibility what so ever for personal injury or damage to personal property from falling branches or debris. DO NOT camp directly under branches.

REFUNDS: We do not give refunds for early departure.

WATER: Rain and a spring provide our water you should boil the water before drinking. Bottled drinking water is available at the kiosk or fill your own bottles from our U.V. sterilized tap outside the kiosk.

SHOWERS: Due to no town water we need to reduce our water usage. Installed in our amenities block are shower timers that take Bimbi tokens. These are available at reception or from a change machine in the amenities block and cost $1 per token and gives you 3 minutes. Cabins with showers do not have token operated timers.

ALCOHOL: We have a limited Liquor License in our kiosk. We can only sell to guests of Bimbi Park and a maximum of 6 beer/mixed drinks or 2 bottles of wine per transaction. Excessive use of alcohol and/or use of banned substances is considered a breach of park rules. Alcohol must not be consumed within children’s playground areas. Offensive behavior will not be tolerated.

KIOSK: The kiosk is open between 9 am and 7 pm

PETS: Guests must notify management of all pets prior to check-in. Acceptance of any pet is at the discretion of management. All pets must always be kept on a lead whilst in the park. Please refer to our pet-friendly policy www.bimbipark.com.au/pet-friendly/

BINS CHICKENS AND GOATS: Guests must dispose of all rubbish within the designated bins and littering is prohibited. Please use the correct bins for your waste. We have general waste bins recycled bins and food scrap bins. You can take your food scraps to the chicken pen and enjoy feeding our chickens and goats. Guests must not chase or handle the animals.

SNAKES: Snakes are active spring summer and autumn. Stay on the tracks and keep a lookout for them. They will not harm you if you just leave them alone. In the event that you are bitten please call 000 and report it to the management.

CHECK IN AND OUT: Our check-in time is after 2pm and check out at 10 am on the day of departure.

CAMP- FIRES: Fires may only be lit in fire bins NOT ON THE GROUND and are not allowed on total fire ban days. Firewood can be purchased from the kiosk or BYO. Fire bins can be used free of charge and are stored at the office/kiosk.

NOISE: Noise must always be kept to a minimum and must cease by 10 pm. We expect our guests to respect the environment and everyone around them. Any disturbance reported to the office may result in your group being asked to leave with no refund.

ROAD RULES: For the safety of all the guests The park speed limit of 5km/h must always be adhered to. This includes the riding of bikes scooters etc.

SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted within any of our onsite accommodation facilities amenities or any other building within the Park. All cigarette butts must be disposed of appropriately.

VISITORS: All visitors must report to the office.

FACILITIES & AMENITIES: All facilities and amenities are to be kept in a clean and tidy manner at all times. In our accommodation and at the camp kitchen you are required to wash dry and put away your dishes failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee charged to your credit card.

DAMAGE: We request that all guests and visitors respect the Park’s property including on-site accommodation contents gardens amenities and facilities. Any damages will be at the cost of the person/s responsible and will be charged at the managers discretion to your credit card.

MAINTENANCE: We ask that guests report any required maintenance to the office during office hours. Maintenance will be carried out as soon as possible.

CHILDREN: Children must always be supervised by a parent or guardian. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure all children under their care abide by the park rules. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in all amenities.

BIKES & SCOOTERS: Helmets meeting Australian Standard (AS/NZ 2063:2008) must be worn while riding within the park grounds.

BUNK BEDS: In accordance with Australian Standard (AS/NZ 4220:2003) “Children under the age of nine years are not permitted to use the top bunk children must not play on top bunk.”

CARS & OTHER VEHICLES: One car per site is permitted unless otherwise authorized. Cars must be parked within the driveway or on the site. Other vehicles are not permitted without consent. All visitors must park within the designated Visitor’s Car Park area. PARK SPEED LIMIT IS 5KM/H

BIKES & SCOOTERS: Helmets meeting Australian Standard (AS/NZ 2063:2008) must be worn while riding within the park grounds.

L.P.G. BOTTLES AND SMOKE ALARMS: All caravans and motor homes must be fitted with an approved Smoke Alarm all LPG Bottles must comply with State Government and Municipal Regulations. It is the responsibility of all patrons guests and visitors to ensure that their own personal equipment complies with regulations.

EMERGENCY PROCEDURES: In the event of an emergency within the park a siren will go off and everyone must assemble at ASSEMBLY AREA 1. (20metres in front of the office). We will inform you on the issue.

Rain and a spring provide our water. If you are use to chlorinated water you should boil the water before drinking. Drinking water is available in bottles at the kiosk or U.V. sterilised from white hose real with the blue hose outside the kiosk.

Due to the low rain fall we need to reduce our water usage.
We do not have town water. Installed in our amenities block are shower timers that take a $1 coin per 3 minutes.
