Additional function rooms are available in the main resort building, ideal for break-out areas, or running a number of sessions concurrently. Located on the outskirts of Victor Harbor township, McCracken Country Club is situated on McCracken Drive, just off the main Adelaide-Victor Harbor Road (A13).
If travelling from Adelaide, drive South along Main South Road, then via left onto Victor Harbor Road, to travel past McLaren Vale, through Mount Compass and as you approach Victor Harbor, turn right to McCracken Country Club just opposite the car dealership on the left hand side (follow signs to golf course and resort). If you get to the roundabout at BP, you’ve just passed us!
From Melbourne, turn off the Duke or Princes Highway before Tailem Bend, via Wellington, Langhorne Creek, Strathalbyn, Goolwa, Middleton and Port Elliott. Turn right at the roundabout near BP to find McCracken Drive on the left.
From Kangaroo Island, disembark the ferry at Cape Jervis and follow the signs via Range Road to Encounter Bay, drive through the town of Victor Harbor, past the main shopping centre, and up past the Whale lookout, straight through the roundabout near BP to find McCracken Country Club on the left.
By foot, McCracken Country Club is about a 20-30 minute walk into the causeway in the centre of Victor Harbor. Local swimming beaches are also a 10-15 minute walk. The Encounter Bikeway, which runs from Goolwa to Victor Harbor, is just a short ride from the resort. A number of taxi companies operate in Victor Harbor as well as state coach companies and local tour operators running daily services to/from Adelaide, McLaren Vale and surrounding areas.
