Is your dream weekend away waking up to birdsong & frogsong, sipping a glass of wine amongst the tree tops or simply wandering through beautiful native forest? If so then our boutique cottages provide a retreat for those who seek escape and yearn for sanctuary.
Relax and enjoy this unique experience and unwind in acres of native forest, enjoying uninterrupted views from your own secluded balcony. Treat yourself to a spa, sip a glass of wine by the log fire or curl up with a good book on the sofa in one of only three cottages specifically designed to blend in with this natural environment.
Our resident hens lay wonderful eggs they are so good they are often mentioned in our guest book. These wonderful eggs are accompanied by very generous breakfast provisions stocked in your cottage before you arrive for as many mornings are you are staying so you are not disturbed. If staying for longer periods provisions are replenished. There are many treats for you to enjoy as soon as you arrive by the crackling fire - which is always lit for you if we know what time you will arrive.
There is a selection of local wines in the cottage at very reasonable prices so you can explore the wineries this side of the Yarra Valley without even leaving your cottage!
If you don't fancy staying in the cottage for your whole visit, there are many places to visit just minutes from Eagle Hammer. Wineries, nice restaurants, nurseries, Puffing Billy, parks & walks to name a few!
Massages & treatments can be arranged, you don't even have to leave the comfort of your cottage.
For those special occasions we will happily arrange chilled bubbles, beautiful flowers & locally handmade chocolates for you to spoil your loved one.

Cancellation Policy
21 days notice of cancellation is required for payment to be refunded (less a $30 administration fee). Cancellations made within 14 days of the first night of the booking full payment is required unless cottages are subsequently fully booked then the payment will be refunded less administration fee and costs. Failure to arrive the full tariff is payable.

Once you arrive in Monbulk, the best way to find us is to use David Hill Road. Follow this road (about 3-4 km) to the end at the T intersection and turn left into Emerald-Monbulk Rd. About 1 km up on the left is Butterfield Reserve and turn left into Old Emerald Road and Eagle Hammer is about 700 metres up the road on the left. There is a large sign at the driveway entrance for our cottages which is lit at night.
If you are using a Satellite Navigation system please check it against my directions as they do not always bring you in the 'best' way when you are close to Eagle Hammer. Most Sat-Nav systems will try and take you to a residential address of 390 Old Emerald Rd.
To ensure a pleasurable drive to Eagle Hammer more detailed directions will be emailed once your booking is confirmed.
