Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park is a boutique-sized park with everything you need to feel at home. You’ll find a large pool, gym, TV room, camp kitchen, and spotless amenities – all set in peaceful tropical gardens.

Mission Beach is famous for its cassowaries (keep an eye out for Cosmo’s cousins!) and the striking blue Ulysses butterfly. For a small beachside community, it has all the conveniences you’ll need, so you can stay a night, a week, or longer without having to head to town.

Of course, the beaches are the main drawcard, but there’s plenty more to explore – from rainforest walks and local tours, to fishing trips, white-water rafting, and even skydiving.

Best of all, our park is within walking distance to shops, cafes, and the beach – so you’ve got everything you need and a few extras you’ll want, right on your doorstep.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation and Change Policy
• Cancellations (7+ days notice): If you cancel 7 or more days before your scheduled
arrival, you will receive a full refund of your deposit minus a $20 administration fee.
• Cancellations (Less than 7 days): If you cancel less than 7 days before arrival, the
deposit (equivalent to one night’s stay) is non-refundable.
• No-Shows/Early Departure: No refunds are provided for no-shows, early departures, or
unused nights once checked in. (Extenuating circumstances may be considered at
management’s discretion, but any such refunds are not guaranteed.)


Booking Changes
• One (1) date change for your booking is allowed free of charge, provided the new stay is
within 12 months of the original booking.
• Each additional date change will incur a $20 administration fee.
• All changes are subject to availability and any difference in tariff for the new dates. The
new dates will be charged at the current rate applicable.


Refund Policy
• No refunds are provided for early departures or unused nights after check-in.
• Refunds for extenuating circumstances may be considered at management’s discretion.
• Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.


Privacy Policy
• We collect personal information solely for the purpose of managing your booking and
stay.
• Your details will not be shared with third parties unless required by law.
• You may request access to, or correction of, your personal information at any time in
accordance with privacy regulations.


Park Rules
To ensure comfort and safety for all, please observe the following rules during your stay:
• Sites: Keep your area clean and tidy. Parking under trees is at your own risk.
• Noise: All noise must cease by 10:00 PM. No loud music or parties at any time.
• Visitors: Welcome between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, and must register at reception. No
visitors may stay overnight – all visitors must depart by 9:00 PM. You are responsible
for the behaviour of your guests at all times.



Vehicles:
o 5 km/h speed limit throughout the park (walking pace only).
o One vehicle per booking is allowed to park on-site within the site area. Any
additional vehicles must be parked in the designated car park at the front of the
park.
o No visitor vehicles are permitted inside the park (visitor parking is available near
the entrance).
o No mechanical repairs or washing of vehicles on-site.
o Charging of Electrical Vehicle is not permitted
• Smoking: Strictly prohibited in all cabins, accommodations, and indoor communal
areas (including eating areas and amenities). If smoking occurs inside any
accommodation or if evidence of smoking is found, a cleaning fee of $200 will be
charged to your account.
• Pets:
o Must be kept on a lead at all times within the park and must not disturb other
guests (excessive barking or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated).
o Owners are required to clean up after their pets immediately and dispose of
waste properly.
o Pets are not to be left unattended in tents, or on sites at any time.
o Pets are not allowed inside cabins. Additional cleaning fees may be charged if a
pet stays in a cabin.
o Pet owners are fully responsible for any injury or damage caused by their pet and
will be liable for any compensation claims related to their pet’s actions. (All pets
must be controlled and supervised by an adult guardian.)
• Swimming Pool: Open 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM daily. No glassware in the pool area. Children
must be actively supervised by an adult at all times in the pool.
• Gym: Open 7:30 AM – 9:00 PM. Children under 12 are not allowed in the gym.
• Children: Children under 12 must be supervised by a parent or adult guardian at all
times while in the park (including amenities, playground, pool, etc.).
• Fires: Open fires are not permitted anywhere on park grounds.
• Glass: Please limit glass containers. No glass is allowed in the pool area for safety.
• Laundry: Clotheslines are available next to the laundry for your use. Do not attach lines
to trees or structures.
• Check-out: Check-out time is 10:00 AM. Late check-out may be arranged with
reception in advance and may incur an additional fee.
• Keys: Cabin and amenity keys must be returned by 10:00 AM on departure day. Late
return of keys may result in an additional day’s charge. Lost or unreturned keys will
incur a $50 replacement fee.
• Damage: Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage to park property.
Charges will also apply for any excessive cleaning required due to misuse or undue
mess (e.g. heavily soiled cabins or facilities), as well as for any repairs or replacement of
items caused by negligence.
(Failure to comply with the above rules may result in warnings or, in serious/repeated cases,
immediate eviction from the park without refund.)


Liability and Disclaimer
• Risk & Property: All persons enter the park and use the facilities at their own risk. The
park accepts no liability for the theft of, or damage to, guests’ possessions (including
vehicles) during your stay. Please secure your belongings; management is not
responsible for loss or theft of any personal property.
• Personal Injury: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tropical Hibiscus Caravan Park
and its management will not be liable for any personal injury, illness, or accidents that
may occur to any guest or visitor while on the premises, except where such liability is
required by law or proven to be due to our negligence. Use of all park facilities (including
the pool, playground, and gym) is at your own risk.
• Guest Responsibility: You are responsible for the safety and behaviour of all persons in
your booking party, including children, dependents, pets, and visitors. Guests must
supervise their children and pets at all times and ensure they follow all rules. You (the
registered guest) will be held liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by your
actions or by those of your children, pets, or visitors.
