The Windmill is approximately 15 minutes by taxi from Mackay Airport.
Approaching from the South : Travel North on the Bruce Highway, crossing over the Pioneer River.
After the traffic lights at intersection of Heaths Road/Bruce Highway, turn left into Highway Plaza at the Shell Service Station & Amart.

Approaching from the North :Travelling South on the Bruce Highway at the second set of traffic lights (intersection of Heaths Road/Bruce Highway)
Execute a U-turn at the traffic lights, so you are now heading north.
Turn into Highway Plaza, the first street on your left at the Shell Service Station.
