South East Queensland's premier Whale Watching operator, Brisbane Whale Watching, now in its 22nd year of operation is proudly Australian owned and operated by the South Pacific's only female skipper of a whale watch operation - Captain Kerry Lopez.
Join the crew of ‘MV Eye-Spy’ and experience the mesmerising migration of the mighty Humpback whales, frolicking right before your eyes.
The whale watching season in Brisbane's Moreton Bay runs from mid June until November.

Brisbane Whale Watching is an Eco Accredited, multi award winning Tour Company offering the ultimate whale watching adventure on board the multi-million dollar purpose built catamaran, "MV Eye-Spy".
Departing daily from the picturesque Redcliffe Jetty between the months of June – November.

Our departure point at Redcliffe Jetty is an easy 30 minute drive from Brisbane’s CBD. Alternatively, why not book one of our transfer inclusive packages with pick-ups available from Brisbane city as well as the Sunshine Coast.

Brisbane Whale Watching’s $3M catamaran ‘MV Eye-Spy’ is Australia’s only purpose built whale watching vessel with features that ensure viewing whales from this vessel is a totally unique experience. These features include 3 levels, 6 outside decks, floor to ceiling windows, raised dining area’s, disabled access and comfortable cushioned seating within the air-conditioned cabin area’s.

Brisbane Whale Watching also has one of Australia’s most experienced whale watching skippers at the helm, Captain Kerry Lopez. Not only is Captain Kerry recognised as the only female skipper of a whale watching vessel in the Pacific Rim, she is also the director of this company, therefore ensuring all guests onboard receive a truly memorable experience.

Driving directions from Brisbane city:
Drive to Turbot Street
This turns into Kingsford Smith Drive
Follow signs to Airport, turning left at the Gateway Motorway
Heading north on the Gateway, travel past the Airport turn off continuing to head north
Continue to follow the signs to Redcliffe
Following the Deagon Deviation, drive over the Haughton Bridge
Once off the bridge be in the right hand lane to ensure you take the road thet veers to the right (following the waters edge)
Follow this road with the water on your right at all times until you reach Redcliffe
Expect this part of the journey to take approximately 10 mins before reaching Redcliffe Parade
Eye-Spy will be seen sitting at the end of a long jetty (Redcliffe Jetty)

Cancellation Policy

If the Whalewatching tour is cancelled due to bad weather our operators will be in contact with you to try to reschedule you to another day of travel. If you are unable to travel a full refund will be issued.

If you the customer cancels and Brisbane Whale Watching is notified 24 hours before the tour departure time a full refund will be issued. However if Brisbane Whale Watching is notified 12 hours before the tour departs a 50% refund will apply. Notification less than12 hours prior to departure will result in no refund.
