With over 18 years of experience, we take pride in now also offering exceptional accommodation without discrimination, specifically tailored for individuals requiring wheelchair access.

Our Sturt Street apartments have been thoughtfully designed to provide a high level of physical accessibility for those with significant physical impairments. Following the SDA Fully Accessible guidelines, we ensure that our apartments meet the highest standards of inclusivity and comfort.

To further enhance your stay, we provide on-site facilities such as the Invacare Birdie Compact Patient Lift Hoist, equipped with a medium sling; capable of supporting weights up to 150 kg. Additionally, our Aquatec Ocean Ergo Transit shower chair, with a weight rating of up to 150 kg, ensures a safe and comfortable bathing experience.

Please note that the lifter and commode are available, but booking in advance is required as we have only one set shared between the two properties.

Conveniently located a short distance from the CBD and popular tourist attractions, our apartments are situated adjacent to the railway lands precinct. A wheelchair-accessible path connects our premises to the vibrant CBD area, making it easy for you to explore the city.

Cancellation Policy

The following terms and conditions will apply to your stay at any property managed by Mount Gambier Apartments.

By making a booking and paying a deposit, you agree to abide by and comply with these terms and conditions.

If you cancel your booking for any reason, the following cancellation fees apply
· Cancellations on Long Weekends, Easter, Christmas, Peak Periods or Special Events: Will be Non Refundable as soon as booked.
· All other Cancellations, notified 30 days prior to arrival will be entitled to a full refund.
· Cancellations notified 14-30 days prior to arrival would be entitled to a 50% of the booking amount
· Cancellations notified less than 14 days prior to arrival or failure to notify a cancellation will forfeit the full booking amount.
· No refund will be given for early departure.
· Please note if you cancel within the penalty period and we re let the property we will offer a partial or full refund if it is re let for the same total price or a partial refund if re let for only a portion of the price. A $25 administration fee will apply to all refunds.
· The same cancellation fees apply if you re schedule your dates.

General rules

It is your responsibility to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before making a booking and paying a deposit.

A breach of these Terms and Conditions by you and or your guests may result in, but is not limited to, you being evicted from the Premises, losing your band and/or monies paid (or owed) by you.
Use of the Premises for any event or use other than as residential holiday or corporate accommodation will result in the immediate termination of the booking for the Premises, removal of the guest(s) and other occupants from the Premises and other costs or expenses (including a function/extra cleaning fee) being charged to the guest’s credit card. If insufficient funds are available; the debt will be passed onto a debt collecting company or the courts for the debt plus recovery costs.
Maintain noise at a reasonable level and, in particular, between 10pm and 8am.
Comply with parking and show consideration to neighbours and other vehicles
Dispose of garbage and recycling in accordance with the usual practice at the property and in the allocated bins.
Refrain from engaging in any drunken, obscene or antisocial behaviour

Tariffs, Prices/ quotations are subject to change without notice and will not be guaranteed until deposit has been processed and you have received formal confirmation of your booking from us via, email, SMS or letter.
Tariffs published on our website are subject to change without notice.
In the case of a guest locking themselves out of the accommodation premises a call out fee of $60 will apply for management to assist with re entry to the property. If management is unavailable to it be the guests responsibility to arrange and pay for a locksmith.
