Looking for a haven close to Melbourne where you can just kick back and recharge the batteries?

Maybe a getaway for the entire family with an abundance of activities: jumping pillow, playgrounds, large pool, games room, something for everyone in, on or out of the water.

The region is renowned for its food and wine with iconic wineries such as Mitchelton, Tahbilk, Plunkett Fowles and David Traeger all within a stone's throw.

Explore the small villages linking the Goulburn River Valley region, stumble upon old pubs, beautiful art galleries and museums, antique shops and other rural treasures.

Savour the Ned Kelly Trail or the Rockery gemstone museum. Browse a country market - the Nagambie Community Market is held the first Saturday of the month overlooking the lake in town, while Violet Town and Avenel hold their markets the 2nd Saturday and Sunday morning of each month respectively.

Perhaps you are seeking the ideal venue to stage a conference in state of the art facilities where peaceful surrounds generate powerful ideas?

Whatever the pursuit, Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park has been designed to suit.

Only 80 minutes from the Melbourne CBD, the nearby township of Nagambie has a rustic charm with myriad opportunities to explore. It's also in the heart of Victoria's wine territory.

But the truth is, you won't even need to leave the Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park to have the time of your life.

With accommodation in first class amenities - luxury cabins on the riverbank, powered caravan sites or ensuite sites.

You can read a book or dangle a line under the shade of an old river red gum, have a game of tennis, row a boat, water ski, swim in the pool, eat in the fabulous Chinaman's Bridge Cafe or perhaps you just want to fire up the BBQ and have a drink or three as you look out on the Goulburn River and watch the sunset.

Where others promise Nagambie Lakes Leisure Park delivers.

Just one hour and 20 minutes north by car of Melbourne’s CBD, Discovery Parks - Nagambie Lakes sits on the banks of the picturesque Goulburn River in the heart of Victoria’s original gold-mining country. Ideal for those who love being out on the water, or just relaxing in nature, Nagambie Lakes is perfect for a no-fuss weekend away with the family or a longer exploration of the region’s waterways, wineries, national parks, and wildlife reserves.

Surrounded by the rustic charm of the nearby township of Nagambie, opportunities to discover quaint old pubs, beautiful gardens, or world-famous winemakers are endless. That said, once you enter our gum-tree-filled park grounds you might not want to leave! With family entertainment always top-of-mind, an infinity-edge swimming pool, playground with bouncing pillow, grass-court tennis, and even a bicycle pump track means there won’t be any time for younger minds to get bored.

Accommodation-wise, whether you are bringing the kids, getting out on your own, or arriving as part of a larger group, the park has options to suit all budgets. The lakeside three-bedroom cabins can comfortably sleep up to eight people, while our bunkhouse can accommodate as many as twelve. If you’re looking for something a little more secluded, the riverside spa cabins could be just the thing for you.

Take a cruise aboard the Goulburn Explorer and discover one of Victoria’s most scenic inland waterways. Linking two of the region’s most iconic wineries, as well as the township of Nagambie, the Goulburn Explorer is a 12-meter cruiser boasting two spectacular viewing decks and capacity for 49.
