Slip into the clear, calm, protected waters Kangaroo Island dolphins call home and enter their amazing world as they swim right up to you to say hello!
If you don’t feel like a swim, enjoy the dolphins' company right alongside the boat while you enjoy a coffee or tea and some home baked delights. As we move around different scenic locations, don’t be surprised if dolphins surf through the wake of our boat behind, jumping and playing … just so you can get some great photos of course! :-)
Over Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures' 13+ years, our local wild dolphins have built up trust in us, so they feel safe to approach our boat. Our vessel is a propeller-free vessel, meaning it's safe for you while you swim, and safe for all our wonderful marine life. The unique friendship we have built with them ensures you will take home unique memories to last a lifetime … and a heap of photos to share with your friends.
Sea Eagles also often fly overhead as some cheeky seals pop their heads up to have a look. On the way to the Dolphin swim areas, we might pass some giant Sting Rays swimming past. Many months of the year, whales surround Kangaroo Island, so you might well be able to say “hello" to them as well! There is just so much to experience.

Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum of 6 adults for a tour to go ahead. When you make a booking, can you please tell us the dates you are available so if we don't meet minimum numbers we can organise a time that suits you for a tour to go ahead.
Infant price is up to and including the age of two, child price is up to and including the age of 13, adult price is the age of 14 and above.
In order to confirm a booking we will need credit card details and a contact phone number, either a mobile phone or accommodation phone before the date of travel.
If you can't make your tour due to covid restrictions or your tour is cancelled due to covid restrictions you will receive a credit for a future tour or a 100% refund.
If the tour is cancelled by Kangaroo Island Marine Adventures (for example: due to unsafe or un-enjoyable weather) you will receive a tour credit or a full refund.
Your credit card will be charged at the time your booking is made, and If you have a need to cancel your tour 48 hours or more in advance, you will receive a full refund
If you cancel the tour within 48 hours you will be charged half the tour amount.
If you cancel the tour within 24 hours you will be charged the full tour amount.
There are no refunds for cancellations within 24 hours of your tour, or if you miss the tour departure time, or if you just decide not to show up.
Tour departure location or time may change due to weather conditions. We make every effort to contact you in advance to advise of any changes. Please call us the day before your tour departure to confirm departure location and time. Please also help us by supplying us with alternate contact methods, just in case.
