It's an easy drive up famous Seventy-Five Mile Beach to see the mighty sand blows, coloured sands, Eli Creek spilling into the ocean, the Maheno shipwreck, Indian Head and the Champagne Pools.
Close by are the rainforests around Pile Valley and Central Station and beautiful, fresh-water lakes with white sandy beaches, which include McKenzie, Birrabeen and Wabby
Eurong Beach Resort, located north of the Sunshine Coast, offers easy access to Fraser Island's famous Seventy-Five Mile Beach, its lakes and rainforests. This makes it the perfect base from which to explore the island. Eurong Beach Resort is set amid hectares of lawns and gardens on the front of Seventy-Five Mile Beach.
The modern restaurant and bar overlook a large free-form swimming pool. A casual Beach Bar adjoins a second pool and has nightly entertainment. Barbecues, tennis, joy flights, four wheel drive hire and conducted four wheel drive tours and bush walks are all on offer. A bakery supplies pizza, hot bread, casual snacks and coffee. A well-stocked store supplies groceries, meat, vegetables, souvenirs, resort wear, camping equipment, fishing gear, ice, fuel and gas.
There is accommodation to suit all budgets from self-contained apartments to backpacker beds. Access is easy with vehicle barges operating daily from River Heads, south of Hervey Bay, to Wanggoolba Creek. From the Sunshine Coast via Rainbow Beach, the barge is on demand between Inskip Point and Hook Point between 6.00 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. and barge bookings are not required.

Eurong Beach Resort 4WD Adventures begin with Fraser Island Barges.
Fraser Island Barges have several services daily from River Heads, south of Hervey Bay and Rainbow Beach.
Ex River Heads 20 mins south of Hervey Bay:
30 mins to Wanggoolba Creek 0900,1015,1530.
45 mins to to Kingfisher Bay 0715, 1100, 1430.
Ex Rainbow Beach / Inskip Point
The 10 minute crossing operates on demand and during daylight hours
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation and/or amendments are accepted up to 31 days prior to arrival. After this time, a full reservation value charge (including extra's) applies for cancellations, amendments and failure to arrive. Early departures/decreased in length of stay is considered a cancellation and is non-refundable.
