Montrose on Moore B&B is located in Moore on the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail; 48km from the trail head at Yarraman and 46km from Esk. We are an ideal base or stop over point on the BVRT. Montrose on Moore has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and can sleep up to 12 people.
Montrose on Moore is a beautiful 120 year old Queenslander with heritage features and also includes a large fully equipped kitchen, lounge room and dining room..
Montrose on Moore B&B has a range of options to accommodate singles, couples, small groups and larger groups.
You could book the whole house, the family room or queen and twin rooms.
We have a spacious and fully equipped kitchen and dining area and multiple living areas.
Feel free to relax on the upstairs verandah on a day bed or in a hammock; or cool off in the in-ground pool. If you’re a cycling enthusiast, we know there’s certain things that you need when booking accommodation.
As keen cyclists ourselves, we have included all of the following at Montrose on Moore.
- Secure bike parking in the dedicated bike shed
- E-bike charging - for up to 12 bikes at one time
- Clothes washing machine, clothesline, and drying rack (if you want to wash your cycling gear)
- Basic bike tools (pump, stand, Allen keys)
- Bike wash facilities
- Nourishing continental breakfast (cereals, muesli, oats, fruit, toast, yoghurt, juice, milk, tea and coffee - pod and plunger. We also include dairy free and gluten free options)

We request you pay in full when securing your booking
Refunds are available if cancellation is received as follows:
More than 30 days: 100% refund
Between 14 days and 30 days: 50% refund
Less than 14 days: sorry, but no refunds
Montrose Guide
We respectfully request guests stack the dishwasher and place rubbish in bins
Please place used towels in the laundry – adjacent to the kitchen
Spare towels are available in laundry if needed
Additional blankets and pillows are available in the wardrobe in each room
Please be mindful of our neighbours regarding noise
As we are on tank water, we ask that guests be water wise
