Thou Walla Sunset Retreat offers a quiet relaxing atmosphere and is perfect for that short break and even better for an extended stay.
The retreat boasts a choice of headland or water views from one of the 33 luxury self contained villas or magnificent sunset views from our award winning Sunset Glamping Tents. You can watch the sunset over the water from the comfort of your Villa or tent. Calm pristine waters surround the retreat with the Marina adjacent offering boat hire, fishing and boat ramp facilities.
Directly across from the retreat are tennis courts for hire, nearby are cafes and take away conveniences.

Please note: Current Reception hours are Monday to Sunday 9.00am to 4.00pm . Please let us know if you are going to arrive outside of reception hours and we can make late arrival arrangements for you.

Once you get to Port Stephens:
Continue along Nelson Bay Road past Port Stephens Winery. Travel for 5kms until you reach the 1st Roundabout.
Turn left at the first roundabout onto Port Stephens Drive.
Follow this road until you come to another roundabout, near Bunnings Super Store, continue straight onto the next roundabout and then take a left hand turn onto Soldiers Point Rd.
Continue on this road right to the very end. (We are approx 1.5 kms past the Soldiers Point Bowling Club). Turn left past the tennis courts onto Ridgeway Avenue and you are there!!!
