Wattle Wilde Estate offers a secluded getaway to those looking to explore all what the Hunter region has to offer including award wining wineries, fine dining as well as relaxing cafes, all whilst located in the heart of Lovedale, Hunter Valley.
Wattle Wilde Estate boasts two dwellings with the capacity to accommodate up to twelve guests on beautiful twenty-five acre grounds giving you the option to sneak away for some alone time with a good book and a enjoy some fabulous Hunter wine, or perhaps wander beyond the dam and enjoy the vast acres of native bushland.
The main dwelling, Wattle Wilde Homestead can accommodate up to eight guests and offers great value for family and friends looking for a getaway with a beautifully furnished home featuring four queen sized beds, two bathrooms, a country style kitchen, laundry facilities, an undercover outdoor entertaining area, BBQ, large fireplace, smart TV, reverse cycle air conditioning and free WiFi.
The second dwelling, Wattle Wilde Cottage boasts a country charm and can accommodate up to four guests in its two-bedroom, one-bathroom configuration, kitchenette, a beautiful living area with a large fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioning, undercover outdoor entertaining area and a BBQ. The bathroom is equipped with a beautiful corner spa, giving you the opportunity to relax and soak in the nature from well positioned yet private windows. The cottage is also wheelchair friendly.
Guests have the choice to book both the Homestead and the Cottage separately or together, depending upon the number of guests. Please note the properties are suitable for adults only.

Cancellation Policy

Please carefully read these Terms and Conditions in full.
Welcome to Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway. We are proud to present our privately owned and managed property.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciated most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following terms and conditions.
As we are offering an entire property complete with expensive fit outs into guests’ hand we expect all guests comply with the Terms and Conditions. We strictly enforce NO Party policy and By-Laws during their stay. We ask the guests to take utmost care and responsibility. Expect to return the property in original condition at the end of occupancy as it was upon arrival.
When you make reservation with us these conditions are agreed by all staying guests and visitors at the property.
Good Neighbour Policy. The property is privately owned home we enforce good neighbour policy. All visiting guests must agree to conduct in respectful manner and not disrupt neighbours or community and that it does not prompt complaint from the police local council and neighbourhood.

Terms and conditions of Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway
1. Definitions
1.1 “Booking” means the period for which you have stayed or intend to stay at the property
1.2. “Property” means the premises you have booked and all its fixtures fittings and equipment.
1.3. “Management” means Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway.
1.4. “Primary Guest” means the person who makes and pays for both the deposit and final payment and provides their credit card information for the security deposit/bond. Credit card payments may only be accepted from the Primary Guest. Payments from any other guest will not be accepted.
1.5. “Guests” mean the persons who stay overnight at the property during the booking.
1.6. “Visitor” means a person or guest permitted to visit the property during the booking.
1.7 “Owner” means the person or persons or legal entity that owns the Property.
1.8 “Agents” mean a 3rd party booking provider e.g. AirBnb.com Booking.com HomeAway/Stayz.com.au
2. Guest Responsibility
2.1. Primary Guests’ accepts these Terms and Conditions is responsible for the rental deposit payment.
2.2. If a Primary guest is booking on behalf of other people the person booking the accommodation is responsible for the property and for making all guests and visitors aware of and abide by these Terms & Conditions. Additional information on the property and its functionality are available to guests in the properties’ House Compendium.
2.3. You must be at least 23 years of age to book any accommodation with Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway.
2.4 Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway properties are strictly not available for end of school celebrations or bucks’ parties and should we become aware of a booking that is of this nature we reserve the right to cancel the booking. All cancellations terms will then apply.
3. Payment
3.1 For direct bookings we accept Visa Mastercard and Amex only.
3.2. A full payment is required to secure the booking and paid only by the Primary Guest. Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway does not ‘hold’ properties without full payment.
3.3. In addition to the tariff $35 non-refundable booking fee will be charged to the primary guest.
3.8 If you have booked through an Agent website the payment requirements of this site will apply to your booking.
4. Registration and Security Deposit/Bond
4.1 Wattle Wilde Country Home takes a security deposit from a primary guest. Amount of $500 pre- authorisation which is processed 1-3 days before your arrival please make sure the funds are available at that time.
4.2 A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold on a security deposit on the Primary guest cardholder until charge is cleared.
4.3 Automatically held funds are cleared between 7-10days.
4.4 Primary guest must call 72 hours before checking in to give credit card details for pre-authorisation of security bond.
4.5 The security deposit may used to cover incidentals items (but not limited to) like excess internet downloads breakages incur damages during your stay smoking odours excess garbage replacement keys emergency call out fees or excess cleaning fee in excess of normal cleaning.
4.6 If Primary guest and any of your guests are found to be in breach of Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway Terms and Condition and house rules Primary guest will be liable (but not limited) to the incidental items listed in section 4.5.
4.6 Our management will notify Primary guest with any extra costs above the property pre-authorisation limit if the damage exceeds the pre- authorisation held amount.
5. Registration agreement with Primary guests and visitors
When booking with us you accept the following:

5.1 During your period of stay you are fully responsible for all breakages and damage caused to the property its furniture and fittings and/or any consequent loss suffered by the Property Owner.

5.2 All fixtures fittings furniture and appliances are assumed to be in good working order at the commencement of your stay and in the event that any item is not in good working order at the commencement of your stay you must notify us immediately so that the condition of the item can be recorded at that time.

5.3 If we have not received notification from you any damage will be deemed to have been caused by you.

5.3 Any breakages damage/loss or injury which occur during your occupation must be reported to us prior to your departure and either replaced to the satisfaction of the Property Owner or paid for prior to departure at an amount determined by the Property Owner at their absolute discretion.
5.4 Malfunctioning equipment or damages - If there are any problems with the property or malfunctioning equipment please report it immediately and do not leave your report until check-out. We do not issue refunds for problems with Satellite TV phone Internet VCR/DVD players hot tubs spa or anything else that is not considered a necessity. We will make every effort to assist with a solution where possible; however there may be limited contractors or service providers in the area after hours or on weekends. You will be held responsible for any damages to the rental home or property caused by you or your guests. Homes are inspected after each stay and if any items are missing or damaged you will be charged.
5.5 On arrival we agree to read the Property Compendium.
5.6 We accept NO smoking inside the property and no cigarette butts will be discarded on the property.
5.7 That the number of persons staying at the property does not exceed the numbers on the booking form at any time during the occupancy unless written approval has been agreed.

5.8 We agree that the property will be left in the same clean neat and tidy condition as it was when they arrived. This includes without limitation; washing up stacking dishwasher and putting on cycle before departure fridge cleaned out BBQ cleaned (a $50 charge will apply) and rubbish to be placed in appropriate bins provided wet towels to be placed in bathrooms. If additional extra-ordinary cleaning is required the cost will be charged against the credit card (security deposit). In an attempt to keep tariffs low we only have provision for the household bins only any additional rubbish can either be removed by the guest or if additional rubbish is left behind we will dispose at the guests expense – charged to the credit card.
5.9 We confirm that the use of the property during our stay is NOT for end of school celebrations or bucks’ parties.
5.10 Our properties have locked cupboards closets and sheds that belong to Owners. Tampering with locked doors will result in a charge and legal action by the Owner.
5.11 TVs Hi Fi stereo music entertainment and sound equipment are setup for your use and enjoyment. Please do not unplug or play with any of the connections. Instructions for the use of equipment should be found in the house compendium.
5.12 Guests and visitors must not create noise and disturb neighbouring properties at any time especially between 10pm and 8am no music should be played outside the house.
5.13 In addition if our staff security guards or the police are called to the property to deal with noise complaints or excess guests or if we receive complaint/s from the neighbours during or after your stay a fee of $500 per offence will be charged. Noise disruption for these purposes includes loud behaviour of any type that disrupts the peace and quiet of others; intrusive or abusive language; loud music or any other sounds affecting other residents


6. Check In Check Out Property Access & Keys
6.1. Check-in time is from 3:00pm onwards and check-out time is 11:00am (weekends) or 10:00am (midweek). Extra charges will incur If the property is not vacated by the agreed time.
6.2. In circumstances where the property is vacated on the same day as your arrival then the check-in time may be later and will be advised by the Reservations Team of Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway.
6.3 The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Please ensure all appliances fans and air-conditioning units have been switched off all lights have been switched off - both inside and out all taps are turned off no toilets are running all garbage has been taken out all dishes are stacked in the dishwasher if any outside furniture has been moved please return to original position firescreens are in place all blinds are down and closed and all curtains are drawn BBQ has been left clean outdoor awnings have been retracted and ALL doors are locked keys are returned to safety box and entry gates are closed on departure.
6.4 If you happen to lose the key or lock the key inside please call us immediately. Guests must not break into or attempt to break into premises when locked out. If a member of our maintenance staff is required for onsite assistance that is the result of loss of keys lockout of accommodation or any issue that arises that is not the responsibility or fault of Wattle Wilde a call out fee of $100 and $110 for the cost of arranging a duplicate key fee will be deducted from your security.

7. Number of guests
7.1 Only paying guests may be on the property at any time. The number of guests staying at the property must not exceed the number paid on the booking confirmation.
7.2 Additional guest rates apply to additional guest staying at the property over above the number of guests stated in the booking confirmation notice.

7.3 Holding parties and functions of any kind are not allowed at the property. By doing so may cancel your booking and will forfeit the security deposit.
8. Cancellation and Variation
8.1 For direct bookings If you cancel your booking with more than 28 days notice you will receive a refund of monies paid minus a $50 administration fee. If you cancel within 14 and 28 days prior to arrival a 50% cancellation fee applies. If you cancel with 14 days or arrival or in the case of a no show no refund applies. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
8.2 For agent bookings cancellation and variation policies and charges will be applicable as per respective agent bookings cancellations and variation terms and conditions.
8.3 Due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. power outages flooding lightening strike or cancelled concerts Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway does not issue refunds.


9. Quoting Policy

9.1 Tariffs are published on our website. All quotes given from us are valid for a period of 7 days only. If you are provided with an incorrect quote from our staff we reserve the right to adjust the quote to the published tariff. Rates may increase for concert or event weekends and/or maximum house numbers may be applied.

9.2 Price quoted are subject to change without notice.

10. Smoking
No smoking inside the house. Please DO NOT discard butts Anywhere at the property including lawns and gardens. Smoking odours found inside the property with attract an additions deodorising fee of $150.
11. Fires
At any time DO NOT light any fires outside the property.

12. Pets
Pets are strictly not allowed.
13. Parking Vehicles and Vehicle access
Parking in the designated car parking areas only. No parking on the grass.
Vehicles including motorbikes trail bikes dirt bikes or quad bikes are not permitted to drive onto lawns paddocks bush tracks or fields.
14. Children and infant
Children are NOT allowed. Due to open waterways and dams our property is not suitable for children.
Open dams are not suitable for swimming.
14. Water Supply/Restrictions
Please note we are on rainwater tank please do not waste water.
15. Telephone and internet
Mobile coverage may vary from time to time. There is internet service available at the Homestead however service may vary depending on usage but is no Internet access available at the cottage.
16. Access
To protect and/or undertake maintenance of the property Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway and/or its representatives reserve the right to enter the property at any time without notice wherever possible we will provide notice to the guests.

17. Loss or Injury
17.1. We accept no responsibility whatsoever for loss or damage of any property or personal injury or death of any occupant guest or invitee of any such occupant and they each exclude all liability to the maximum extent permitted by law.

17.2. We accept no responsibility for the guests’ personal property. If the property is left at the houses and needs to be returned this will be done at the guests’ costs. Any property left behind can be sent to you by Australia Post and will incur a $35 charge to cover packaging time and postage. If the item is large we suggest you arrange for collection. If not claimed within 30 days it will be disposed of.

18. Personal Information and Privacy Policy
18.1. The personal information obtained from this website is used where you have so requested to provide products and services to you to provide you with information and to send newsletters or other communications to you.
18.2 Wattle Wilde Country Hideaway may use your personal information for direct marketing or promotional activities. However if we do undertake such activities you will be provided with an opportunity when first contacted to decline to receive any further communications from us.
18.3. We do not pass guest details on to any third parties.
19. Criminal Activity
Use of the property for any criminal activity is of course prohibited and may result in fines or prosecutions. This prohibition extends to the use of the property’s internet service if any for criminal activity. We will cooperate with any investigation of alleged criminal activity at the property during the stay.
20. Bad Books Register/Traveller Feedback

By making this booking you hereby agree that if you or any occupant covered by this booking breaches our terms and conditions your name phone number home address and email address as well as details of the breach/es may be registered with any ‘bad guest’ register. Traveller feedback may also be entered onto the applicable online portals. Wattle Wilde Home Away reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking where a guest is registered on these sites or has received negative feedback from other booking sites or travel agents.
