William Creek is in the middle of nowhere, on the way to somewhere, outback South Australia.
Established in 1887, the iconic hotel is located on the famous Oodnadatta track and is the gateway to Kati Thanda-Lake Eyre and the Anna Creek Painted Hills.
The hotel has a large range of rooms/cabins and camping facilities to suite every traveller.
Our boutique cottage "The Camel House" accomodates two to six guests
The Hotel offers delicious outback meals, icy cold drinks, fuel and many other staples for the meandering travellers.

Cancellation Policy
These Terms and Conditions govern all individual and small group bookings made with the William Creek Hotel. The person making the booking is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking. It is your responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions and to ensure other persons on whose behalf you make the booking read and understand them.
Child Policy: All children are welcome at the William Creek Hotel and those aged 12 years old and under (at the time of check-in) stay free in all accommodation when using existing bedding. There is no capacity for extra beds in the rooms.
Internet: Internet access is only available in the Camel Hut. No internet access is available elsewhere.
Parking: Free parking is available on site.
Pet Policy: Pets are permitted on site, however, if they cause nuisance to others they must be tethered. Pets cannot enter the Hotel or accommodation rooms.
Smoking Policy: The William Creek Hotel is completely NON - SMOKING in all indoor areas of the Hotel and in all accommodation rooms either at the Hotel or in the Campground.
If the cancellation is received more than 48 hours in advance no cancellation fee applies.
If the cancellation is received less than 48 hours from your scheduled check-in date full room rate will be charged to your credit card as provided when booking.
Cancellation must be provided either by phone 08 8670 7880 or email williamcreekhotel@bigpond.com and will only become effective when received by us.
Road Closures:
In the event of road closures making it unable for you to reach William Creek no fees will apply for cancellation or no show of your booking.
